Ricardo is a freelance photographer based in Hendersonville, North Carolina, available for travel.

Ricardo’s creative path in photography began in Colorado in 2018 after completing his collegiate running career. What started as a personal creative outlet quickly evolved into a professional pursuit, rooted in documenting movement, environment, and authentic human connection.

His work continued to grow during a five-year chapter in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where he developed his business while collaborating with exceptional athletes, local communities, and businesses. Living along the coast shaped his approach to storytelling—balancing energy, simplicity, and the raw moments found in everyday life.

Recently, Ricardo relocated to Hendersonville, North Carolina, returning to the mountains that first inspired his connection to the outdoors. His photography is influenced by wide-ranging outdoor lifestyles and the people who have found their place within them, capturing stories that feel honest, intentional, and lived-in.

When he’s not behind the camera, Ricardo lives by his philosophy, “play hard and live simply.” You’ll often find him surfing, trail running, climbing, or chasing any excuse to be outside—always drawing inspiration from the landscapes and communities around him.
